Champion jockey Frankie Dettori was banned from the upcoming Royal Ascot meet after he was handed a six-day suspension for careless riding.Stewards imposed the ban after his ride on Royal Orissa in a June 2 race at Haydock. While racing toward the back of the field, the horse and Dettori appeared to edge right and interfere with Aversham, who fell. Dettori's mount was unplaced.
