Emirates Airline Offers Trips To Breeders' Cup, Dubai World Cup

Emirates Airline, in conjunction with the National Thoroughbred Racing Association, announced June 20 the "Emirates Airline Racing Around the World Sweepstakes."

Winners will be awarded a VIP trip for two to the Oct. 29 Breeders' Cup World Thoroughbred Championships at Belmont Park during the July 9, Aug. 13, and Oct. 1 "Emirates Airline Super Saturday" telecasts airing on ESPN and ABC.

Then, at the Breeders' Cup, the three "Super Saturday" winners will be entered in a random drawing for a VIP trip to the 2006 Dubai World Cup at Nad al Sheba Racecourse.

"This exciting promotion offers fans the chance to attend the world's two richest, most prestigious horse racing days within the space of five months," said NTRA senior vice president of marketing and industry relations, Keith Chamblin. "We believe this once-in-a-lifetime grand prize will drive viewers to the Emirates Airline 'Super Saturday' programs and provide outstanding exposure to Emirates Airline."

Emirates Airline is title sponsor of two of the eight Breeders' Cup championship races; the $2 million Emirates Airline Breeders' Cup Distaff (gr. I), and the $1 million Emirates Airline Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf (gr. I).

Fans must be 18 years of age or older to enter. They can enter online at the NTRA and Emirates Web sites, as well as at participating NTRA-member Web sites through Oct. 1. The sweepstakes is restricted to residents of the United States and Canada.
