Werblin to Move to Hartley/De Renzo in Florida

Grade II stakes-placed Werblin will relocate to Hartley/De Renzo, Walmac South near Ocala, Fla., from Thomas Reigle's Reigle Heir Farms near Grantsville, Pa.

An $850,000 Keeneland July sale yearling, Werblin recorded a 107 Beyer Speed Figure as a 2-year-old and was stakes-placed three consecutive times earlier in his 3-year-old season.

"He was a fast, precocious horse who was competitive on the classic trail," said farm co-owner Dean De Renzo about the 6-year-old son of Unbridled's Song. "He is out of a multiple stakes-winning/stakes-producing dam (Roll Over Baby, by Rollin On Over), and has a full brother, Value Plus, who will be a very hot prospect once his racing career is over."

Werblin, who placed in the San Rafael (gr. II), San Vicente (gr. II), and San Pedro Stakes, won two of 10 starts and earned $120,615. In addition to being a full brother to stakes winner Value Plus, he is a half-brother to stakes winners Majorbigtimesheet and Roll Hennessy Roll.

Werblin, who stood for $3,000 in 2005, will have his 2006 fee announced later.
