The highlight of the evening was a "Texas Raffle" for a John Deere Gator, donated by NYTHA to the auction, won by trainer Todd Pletcher. The Belmont Child Care Association is a not-for-profit-corporation established in December 1998 to create an on-site child care center, Anna House, at Belmont Park for the working families of New York racing.

The New York Thoroughbred Horsemen's Association president Richard Bomze and his wife, Diane, both board members of The BCCA, were the honorees along with NYTHA.
