It is a "no guarantee" season, but the buyer will have the right to revisit the stallion in 2007 if no foal results from the 2006 mating.
Sheikh Mohammed's Darley organization has donated a season to its successful stallion Elusive Quality to the American Red Cross "Katrina Relief" fund. The sire of Kentucky Derby (gr. I) and Preakness (gr. I) hero Smarty Jones , Elusive Quality is the sire of 19 stakes winners to date. Dan Pride, director of stallion operations at Darley, said the money from this sale will be part of the challenge from Bill and Susan Casner, who pledged to give up to $1 million to match specific funds raised within our industry.
