Bay Meadows Land Company built a mixed-use development on 79 acres at Bay Meadows racetrack that previously was the site of a stable area and training track and has plans to develop the rest of the San Mateo property.Eual Wyatt will continue to serve as general manager and vice president at Hollywood Park. Wyatt has been general manager at the track since 1994. In other management changes at Hollywood Park, Dyan Grealish and Bernie Thurman will serve as vice presidents of both Hollywood Park Racing Association and Bay Meadows Racing Association. Mike Ziegler will also serve as a vice president of both racing associations and as an assistant general manager. Tim Barden will also be an assistant general manager of HPRA. Martin Panza will serve as vice president of racing of HPRA. Fancher, the managing partner of Stockbridge, said, "Jack Liebau has long been recognized as one of the true leaders in the California racing industry. We are fortunate to have him at the helm of our statewide racing operations.
"Our goal is to continue and strengthen Hollywood Park's tradition of offering an outstanding experience for racing fans and horse owners and trainers alike," Fancher added. Steve Arnold will be moving from his current role as vice president of finance at Hollywood Park into a new role at Stockbridge. Arnold and Baedeker will be based in new offices Stockbridge expects to open in Los Angeles shortly.
