TOBA to Hold New Owners Seminar at Belmont on Breeders' Cup Weekend

The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association (TOBA) will hold its New and Prospective Owners Seminar at Belmont Park Friday, Oct. 28, the day before the 22nd running of the Breeders' Cup World Thoroughbred Championships.

The seminar, which runs from 9:30 a.m. to noon in the Garden Terrace Dining Room at Belmont Park, will provide new and perspective owners with an overview on the business of Thoroughbred ownership. Panel presentations will be on a variety of topics such as insurance, partnership perspectives, business matters, trainer/owner communication and sales.

Speakers will include: W. Cothran "Cot" Campbell, Dogwood Stables; Billy Koch, Little Red Feather Stables; Andre Regard, Occidental Thoroughbreds; Alex Neuman, Kirk Horse Insurance; Donald Little, Centennial Farms Management Company, and Gay Fisher, president of the Greatest Game, a TOBA program designed to attract, educate and, retain new investors in Thoroughbred ownership.

The registration fee for the seminar is $100 for TOBA members and $125 for non-members and includes the presentations, all support materials, lunch, and a day at the races.
