Second-Crop Sire Yankee Victor to Korea

Yankee Victor, who ranks 10th on the second-crop sires list by 2005 progeny earnings, has been sold to the Korean Racing Association to stand at the Jeju Stud and Training Farm.

Nine-year-old Yankee Victor (Saint Ballado--Highest Carol, by Caro) is the sire of 2005 stakes winners Swede, Yankee Master, and Real Dandy, whose big win came in the West Virginia Derby (gr. III). Yankee Victor has career progeny earnings of $2.7 million.

Yankee Victor won eight of 19 races, including the 2000 Metropolitan Handicap (gr. I), and earned $833,806. He stood all five years at stud at Brereton C. Jones' Airdrie Stud near Midway, Ky
