Officer Filly Speeds to Fastest Quarter at Ocala

A filly by Officer sped a quarter in :21 1/5 to post the fastest time at the distance Friday at the first session of the Under Tack Show for the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's 2006 March Sale of Selected 2-Year-Olds in Training.

The bay filly, consigned by Eisaman Equine, worked an eighth in :10 1/5 at last Friday's session of the Preview. She's out of Likely Minister, by Deputy Minister, a daughter of stakes placed Most Likely.

Five horses shared honors for the session's fastest eighth mile breeze, stopping the timer in :10 2/5.

A bay filly by Johannesburg, consigned by agent Cloverleaf Farms & Brent Fernung, is out of Flowing Melody, by Eternal Prince, a half sister to stakes winner Lambana. She worked an eighth in :10 3/5 at the Preview.

A bay colt by Doneraile Court, consigned by agent Gabriel Dixon, is out of Grey Dawn Grey, by Grindstone, a half sister to graded stakes winner Real Cash. He also worked an eighth in :10 3/5 at the Preview.

Purrfect Acre, a chestnut colt by West Acre consigned by agent Excel Bloodstock, LLC (Bruno De Berdt and Rudy Delguidice), is out of Purrfect Heritage, by Mountain Cat, a daughter of stakes placed Sentimentallysweet. He too posted a :10 3/5 eighth at the Preview.

Straight Romance is a bay colt by Straight Man out of Rhodesian Romance, by Buckaroo, a half sister to graded stakes winner Greatsilverfleet. Consigned by agent New Episode Training Center, Inc., he also worked a :10 3/5 eighth at the Preview.

A bay colt by Five Star Day, consigned agent by Hartley/De Renzo Thoroughbreds, is out of stakes winner Saucy Maise, by Sauce Boat. He worked an eighth in :10 4/5 at the Preview.

The session's fastest three eighths mile breeze, timed in :35 1/5, was turned in by a bay colt by Include  consigned by agent Crupi's New Castle Farm. The half brother to stakes winner Itstartswithadream is out of Regents Signet, by Commemorate, and worked a quarter in :22 2/5 at the Preview.
