Saratoga Thoroughbred Club Announces New Partnerships for 2006 Season

Edited press release

The Saratoga Thoroughbred Club is open for business in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., and will eventually represent several racing partnerships, with varying levels of horses available. The first crop consists of 15 horses.

The Saratoga Thoroughbred Club is the brainchild of equine marketer/videographer/photographer Joseph Gleason. Gleason's involvement in the sport has been that of a lifelong fan. He decided that the best way to own Thoroughbreds -- and to share the excitement with friends (and strangers who will become new friends) -- was to incorporate as a racing partnership.

"It was time to offer the opportunity to own to those who don't necessarily want to make a monumental commitment," Gleason said, "Our first partnership offers some great horses with tremendous potential -- at a cost that's both affordable and approachable. We want to give the opportunity for ownership thrills to everyone who wants to join the party."

The Saratoga Thoroughbred Club starts the 2006 racing season with its first open meeting at the Stadium West Café in Saratoga Springs April 26 at 7 p.m.

The first 10 owner/investors who sign contracts on or before April 26 will be invited to name one of the horses in the stable.
