TVG To Launch 11 New Shows, New Look May 10

Edited press release

TVG will launch a new program lineup along with a new on-air look beginning May 10, network executives announced May 1. Highlighting the changes will be the debut of 11 new programs and a revamped on-screen graphic look.

These enhancements follow the recent redesign of the TVG website, where new content and improved navigation elements are making it easier for customers to watch and wager from home.

"On the heels of a very successful year for TVG, we're excited about these changes to our program schedule which are intended to contemporize our approach to coverage of horseracing, improve the viewing experience for TVG's fans, and take the network to the next level," said David Nathanson, TVG's general manager. "Our 11 new shows will allow us to approach that same content in fresh new formats that will appeal to both the seasoned racing fan and those just getting acquainted with the sport."

The new programming will complement TVG's flagship programs, "Trackside Live!", "The Quarters", "The Works", "Blinkers Off", and "The Finish Line" in packaging horseracing formats designed to attract a wide-range of sports, gaming, and racing fans. Most of the shows will originate from TVG's Los Angeles studio complex.

"We remain dedicated to bringing the best in horseracing to our viewers and will continue to showcase up to 12 live races an hour, 14-16 hours per day," said Tony Allevato, TVG senior vice president and executive producer.
