Foxysox Seeks 4th Straight in Senorita Stakes

Foxysox, unbeaten in North America, will aim for her fourth straight victory of 2006 in Saturday's $100,000 Senorita Stakes (gr. IIIT) for 3-year-old fillies at one mile on the Hollywood Park turf course.

The Great Britain-bred filly was winless a year ago in five starts overseas, but she has not made a mistake in three starts this year, most recently winning the Providencia Stakes (gr. IIIT) at Santa Anita. Alex Bisono has the mount on the chestnut, the 121-pound high weight in the six-horse event.

The Senorita, a possible steppingstone to the $750,000 American Oaks Invitational (gr. IT) on July 2, has been carded as the first race.

Foxysox, owned by Warren B. Williamson and trained by Carla Gaines, broke her maiden in February, then won the China Doll and Providencia. She tops the Senorita field with earnings of $190,824 in eight starts.
