English and U.S. stakes winner Anjiz will stand the 2001 breeding season at Solred Farms near Reddick, Fla. The 12-year-old stallion (Nureyev -- Prayers'n Promises, by Foolish Pleasure) has sired three stakes winners and last stood in Argentina. Anjiz set a six-furlong track mark of 1:07.78 in the Phoenix Breeders' Cup Stakes at Keeneland and was retired with $309,509 in earnings.
