Grade I Winners Snow Ridge, Yonaguska Sire First Winners

Snow Ridge and Yonaguska, both grade I winners, were represented by their first winners July 1.

Snow Ridge's daughter, Snow Lady, won at 4 1/2 furlongs at Calder Race Course in :54.16. A Florida-bred, she races as a homebred for Satish and Anne Sanan's Padua Stables. She is out of the Digression mare Lady Oxmoor.

Snow Ridge (Tabasco Cat--Snow Forest, by Woodman) stands for $5,000 at Padua near Summerfield, Fla.

Yonaguska's daughter, Validity, scored at Woodbine in :58.62 for the five furlongs. Bred in Ontario, Canada, by Grapestock, Validity races for Dr. Tom Simon's Vinery Stables. She is the first foal out of the winning Valid Appeal mare Valid Miss Pick.

Yonaguska (Cherokee Run--Marital Spook, by Silver Ghost) stands for $10,000 at Vinery near Lexington.
