Full Field of 10 Entered in Del Mar Oaks

Ten 3-year-old fillies, including three shippers and the 1-2-3 finishers in Del Mar's grade II San Clemente Stakes, will head to the gate Saturday for the 50th running of the grade I, $400,000 Del Mar Oaks.

All runners will carry 122 pounds in the 1 1/8-mile race on the Jimmy Durante Turf Course.

Coming in for the race from Toronto, Canada, is Arravale, who finished third to Wait a While and Asahi Rising in Hollywood Park's grade I American Oaks on July 2. Also in that race finishing eighth was San Clemente winner Attima and San Clemente runner-up Sol Mi Fa, who was fifth in the Hollywood Park race.

Soothsay, third-place finisher in the San Clemente, is back to tackle the Oaks.

Another fugitive from the American Oaks is Foxysox, who has been training sharply toward the Del Mar Oaks. She went on a four-race win streak for trainer Carla Gaines after coming to her barn from four starts in England. The win streak came to an end with a second place in Hollywood Park's Grade II Honeymoon Breeders' Cup Handicap.

Also shipping in for the race are May Night and Take the Ribbon, both stabled in Kentucky with trainers Fred Seitz and Wallace Dollase, respectively.

Charming N Lovable comes to the race from a big win in Hollywood Park's Flawlessly Stakes and Indy Miss won an allowance race at Del Mar August 7.
