Untouched Talent Heads Del Mar Debutante

Undefeated stakes winners Untouched Talent and Pinata headline a field of nine 2-year-old fillies in Monday's $250,000 Del Mar Debutante (gr. I) at 7 furlongs on the main track.

Pinata, trained by Peter Miller, broke her maiden at first asking at Pleasanton, then came south to win Hollywood Park's Landaluce Stakes.

Five of the runners are maiden winners, including Outofthepast, who finished second to Untouched Talent in the Sorrento. The other winners are Mistical Plan, Point Ashley, Jump On In, and She's Included. The last three named won at the seashore and Mistical Plan won at first asking at Santa Rosa.

Jump On In, trained by John Sadler, is ranked first in the national juvenile filly division by Daily Racing Form expert Mike Watchmaker, following a sensational winning debut during the Del Mar meetig.
