Gal Wonder went nearly wire to wire to win the $138,375 Brave Raj Breeders' Cup Stakes in the filly preview.Ridden by Julio Garcia, Green Vegas, a bay son of Trippi, defeated Imawildandcrazyguy by two lengths with Yesbyjimminy, the 6-to-5 favorite, finishing another 5 1/4 lengths back in third.Olivares also trains Green Vegas, who won at first asking at Calder on June 3. Winless in three starts since then, Green Vegas ran third, one length behind Straight Faced in the Florida Stallion Affirmed Sept. 2 and appeared ready for his two-turn debut in the Foolish Pleasure at a mile and 70 yards. He covered the distance in 1:45.19.Green Vegas earned $90,000 while paying $6.80, $4.40, and $2.80.
