The Lexington-based Horse Racing Radio Network announced Oct. 3 that it has added Keeneland's feature races to its 2006 broadcast schedule. HRRN will provide its listeners with live coverage of Keeneland's feature race each day throughout the upcoming fall meet. The schedule includes all 17 stakes races, as well as expanded coverage of an hour or more on each of the four Saturdays during the meet. Listeners will now be able to hear the HRRN broadcasts on seven affiliates throughout Kentucky and Southern Indiana. In addition to its anchor stations, WLXG 1300 in Lexington, and WAVG 1450 in Jeffersonville, Ind., HRRN broadcasts can now be heard on WAIN 93.5 FM in Columbia, Ky.; WIVY 96.3 FM in Morehead, Ky.; WMST 1150 AM in Mt. Sterling, Ky.; WSIP 98.9 FM in Paintsville, Ky.; and WDOC 1310 AM in Prestonsburg, Ky.
Each broadcast features pre and post race analysis, as well as track announcer Kurt Becker's live call of the race.
