Demon Warlock to Allaire in Washington

Demon Warlock, a Washington Horse of the Year, has arrived at Barbara Meeking's Allaire Farms near Poulsbo, Wash., where he will enter stud in 2007.

A 6-year-old son of Demons Begone, Demon Warlock won the 2004 Budweiser Emerald Handicap and Muckleshoot Tribal Classic Stakes and ran second in the Longacres Mile Handicap (gr. III) the year he was Washington Horse of the Year and champion older male. He also was a stakes winner the following year and was retired with 10 wins from 28 races and earnings of $278,335.

Demon Warlock, who finished his racing career for Tim and Allen Floyd and Mike Nist, is out of the stakes-winning Zamboni mare Witchery. Special consideration will be given to stakes winners and stakes producers.
