Michigan breeder/owner John Bogosian Dead

Michigan breeder/owner John Bogosian, 78, died Oct. 11 in Leesburg, Virginia.

A Detroit native, Bogosian and his wife, Joan, raced under the name of Winmead Farm from the 1970s to the 1990s in Michigan, Maryland, Louisiana, Delaware, and New York. Bogosian served as secretary/treasurer of Michigan's Horseman's Benevolent and Protective Association.
