First Foals for Three Lane's End Stallions

The first reported foals sired by Mingun, the group III-winning son of A.P. Indy and Miesque, arrived on Jan. 26, according to William S. Farish's Lane's End Farm.

A colt out of Miss Tippins, owned by Paula Cline, was foaled at his owner’s  Rosehaven Farm near Versailles, Ky. The colt is from the family of grade I winners Hawkster and Black Hawk (GB).

Also on Jan. 26, a filly by Mingun out of Ideal Scenario  was born at Hill ‘n’ Dale’s farm in Canada. The filly is from the family of grade I winners Blush With Pride, Chimes of Freedom and Aldebaran.

The first reported foal by multiple grade I winner Rock Hard Ten  (Kris S.--Tersa) arrived Jan. 15 at Hill ‘n’ Dale Farms near Lexington, Kentucky. This colt, out of the stakes-placed mare Di's Delight, is from the family of grade I winner Skywalker.

Lane's End also noted that the first reported foal by 2003 Canadian Horse of the Year and Triple Crown winner Wando (Langfuhr--Kathie’s Colleen) was born at Dr. Dede McGehee’s Heaven Trees Farm near Lexington, Ky., on Jan. 25. This colt is out of the Clever Trick mare Tricky Vixen, from the family of Fragrant Princess.
