A filly by Precise End, consigned by M & H Training & Sales, agent, worked an eighth in :10 1/5 Thursday in Central Florida to post the fastest time at the distance during the second session of the under tack show for the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's spring sale of 2-year-olds in training. The chestnut filly is out of Dashing Fashion (by Diablo), a half sister to stakes winners Speakerphone and Foundation Plan.
Three horses shared honors for the session’s fastest quarter-mile breeze, each getting the distance in :21 2/5. They included a Yonaguska colt consigned by O & H Bloodstock (Terry Oliver and Bo Hunt), agent. The colt is out of Frankie’s Lady (by Meadowlake), produced from stakes-placed Fairest College. Another in the fastest-working group was January Gent, a chestnut colt by Wiseman's Ferry out of January Angel (by Carson City), a half-sister to stakes placed Royal Sting He is consigned by McKathan Bros., agent. Also covering a quarter mile in :21 2/5 was a Trippi colt, consigned by Shadybrook Farm (Michael Yates), agent. He is out of stakes-placed Karon’s Dream (by Geiger Counter) and is a half-brother to graded stakes winner Watchem Smokey.
The under tack show continues Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. (EDT) with Hip Nos. 701-1050 scheduled to breeze.
