Dream Rush won the $206,600 Nassau County Breeders' Cup Stakes (gr. II) {VIDEO} for 3-year-old fillies at Belmont Park on Saturday, leading wire-to-wire en route to a  9 1/4-length victory.
Eibar Coa was merely a passenger aboard Dream Rush as the daughter of Wild Rush quickly sprinted to the lead and expanded her edge through the stretch in a final time of 1:22 for seven furlongs.

Dream Rush, owned by West Point Stable, Lewis Lakin and William Lawrence, improved her record to four wins in five starts with her powerful win in the Nassau County. Her lone defeat came in a troubled trip at Gulfstream Park in an allowance race earlier this year.

“After she broke so sharp and came back to me, I was very happy,” said Coa, who guided the filly through opening fractions of :22 3/5 and :45 1/5. “She relaxed great.”

Trainer Richard Violette Jr. was thrilled with Dream Rush’s effort as it was her first attempt going farther than 6 1/2 furlongs.

“God willing, everything turns out well and she’ll be back in the Acorn,” Violette said.

The $250,000 Acorn (gr. I) is at one mile on June 9, Belmont Stakes day. and her jockey will be looking forward to that start.

“I think she’ll stretch out because she relaxed so great today,” Coa said.

Dream Rush, the 1-4 favorite, returned $2.70, $2.40 and $2.10 to win the Nassau County.

Lady Marlboro ($4.90, $4.40) rallied for second with Changeisgonnacome ($4) holding on for the show spot.
