A Pioneering filly worked a quarter mile in :21 2/5 Sunday, posting the fastest time for the distance during the third session of the under tack show for the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic sale of 2-year-olds in training in Maryland. The session was added because of rainy weather on Friday. Fasig-Tipton officials gave the consignors with horses scheduled to work at Timonium then the option of waiting until Sunday. A Gold Fever -- Vivano colt and a Northern Afleet -- Communicator Madam colt named Quick Solution were the fastest workers at an eighth of a mile, each with a clocking of :10 2/5. The Gold Fever colt is consigned by Terry Oliver, agent. Quick Solution is consigned by McKathan Farms, agent.
A Smoke Glacken -- Baydon Belle colt turned in the fastest three-furlong work, stopping the clock in :33 1/5. He is consigned by Niall Brennan Stables, agent.
