Unbridled's Song's Fee Dropped

Unbridled's Song will stand for $150,000

Unbridled's Song, whose grade I-winning daughter Octave recently commanded $4 million at the Fasig-Tipton November sale, will stand for $150,000 in 2008 at the Taylor family's Taylor Made Farm near Nicholasville, Ky. The 14-year-old son of Unbridled stood for $200,000 in 2007, during which time he covered 108 mares, according to The Jockey Club's Report of Mares Bred.

Unbridled's Song, out of the Caro mare Trolley Song, is represented this year by 11 stakes winners and the earners of $5.4 million, numbers closely corresponding to last year's figures around this time. At this point in 2006, he had nine stakes winners and the earners of $5.1 million.

In addition to 3-year-old Octave, who has won two grade I events this year, Unbridled's Song is the sire of another 2007 grade I winner, Political Force.

Taylor Made also dropped the fee of 11-year-old Forestry to $100,000 from his 2007 fee of $125,000. Forestry (Storm Cat--Shared Interest, by Pleasant Colony) is represented this year by nine stakes winners and the earners of $3.3 million.
