HRTV to Launch 'RaceDay America'

HRTV will preview each day's racing on "RaceDay America" beginning Jan. 1.

With the busy winter racing schedule under way, HorseRacing TV will debut a new daily 90-minute show, “RaceDay America,” beginning New Year’s Day, Jan. 1, at 11:30 a.m. EST.

Produced by Becky Witzman, and co-hosted by Scott Hazelton and Carolyn Conley, the show will give viewers a detailed preview of that day’s racing from some of the sport’s top venues, including Fair Grounds, Gulfstream Park, Laurel Park, Oaklawn Park, and Santa Anita Park.

“RaceDay America” will provide handicappers with pertinent information, including updated track conditions and scratches for the day. In addition, the show will air informative interviews with racing personalities. “RaceDay America” will also usher viewers through the early races from East Coast racetracks.

“The winter racing season on HRTV features some of the sport’s top racing venues, including Santa Anita, Gulfstream, and Fair Grounds,” HRTV executive producer Amy Zimmerman said. “With an exciting and expanding racing schedule, this show will be an ideal fit and allow fans and handicappers to get the latest information on that day’s races.”
