Washington Divisional Champions Named

Ron Crockett's The Great Face was awarded multiple honors by the WTBA.

The Washington Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association has named Ron Crockett’s The Great Face 2007 horse of the year, handicap male, and sprinter.

Bred by Patricia Murphy’s Time-Wise Farm, the son of Cahill Road finished the year with earnings of $292,875. Trained by Tom Wenzel, The Great Face scored his major wins in the Longacres Mile (gr. III) and the Mt. Rainier Breeders’ Cup Handicap at Emerald Downs.
