From Lillingston Bloodstock
Ed Sackville has joined Lillingston Bloodstock and is based at its new office in Hungerford, England. He replaces Rachel Boffey and will specialize in broodmares, stallions, yearling purchases, and bloodstock portfolio management.
While under John Warren’s tutelage following college graduation in 1999, Sackville was involved with bloodstock management, sale nominations, stallion advertising, pedigree research and matings, management of horses in training, and yearling selection at the sales. Sackville, who has a master’s degree from Edinburgh University, is also a graduate of the inaugural Darley Flying Start Program and has spent six months assisting trainer Hughie Morrison.
“Ed has helped me for nine years and has been a great asset to the team,” Warren said. “He has helped me with every aspect of the business, and I intend to continue to use his services.”
“I am thrilled that Ed is joining our team," said Luke Lillingston. "The global experience he has gained with the Darley Flying Start will fit in very well with Kern Lillingston’s worldwide network. Also, the time Ed spent with one of the industry’s consummate professionals in John Warren is certain to serve him well in his new career.”
