The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association announced April 16 that it will conduct a new owner seminar May 1, at the Kentucky Derby Museum in Louisville.
The seminar, sponsored by Blood-Horse Publications, will feature discussions on industry business issues; options for acquiring horses, including partnerships, auctions, and claiming; and discussion of veterinary topics. Speakers include Davant Latham, Tom Amoss, Billy Koch, Jack Wolf, and Todd Pletcher.
The seminar will begin at 7:30 a.m. EDT and will include breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon of racing at Churchill Downs. The registration fee for the seminar is $75 for TOBA members and $100 for non-members. The fee includes all support materials, admission to the track, and meals.
