Jen Roytz will replace Margaret Layton as communications director for Three Chimneys.

From Three Chimneys

Three Chimneys announced April 18 that Jen Roytz would take over as communications director for the Midway, Ky. farm in May.

Roytz, whose career has included work as an account manager and public relations specialist for Cornett Integrated Marketing Solutions, most recently served as the executive director of Georgetown College’s Equine Scholars Program.

“What Jen has accomplished to date impressed us from the outset, and we’re delighted she has chosen Three Chimneys to be her new home,” said Case Clay, president of Three Chimneys Farm.

Roytz will take over the communications director position from Margaret Layton, who, via Layton Communications, will be providing media relations coaching and marketing advice to a variety of clients. Layton will remain involved with the farm on a consulting basis.

“I’m thrilled to join Three Chimneys’ team and I’m eager to jump in and get started,” said Roytz. “The Thoroughbred industry has been a focus of mine both professionally and personally over the years. Margaret has done a tremendous job managing the farm’s marketing and communications, and I look forward to picking up where she’s left off to continue Three Chimney’s forward momentum.”
