William Fasy, president and chief executive officer of Delaware Park, has replaced Robert Green on the National Thoroughbred Racing Association board of directors.
Fasy will fill the Eastern Region Independent seat previously occupied by Green, whose term has expired. Green heads Greenwood Racing, which operates Philadelphia Park Casino & Racetrack and Atlantic City Race Course.
During its June 5 meeting in New York, the NTRA board also received updates on equine health and safety initiatives, legislative affairs, NTRA Advantage programs, television, and marketing00including preparations and planning surrounding Big Brown's bid to become Thoroughbred racing's 12th Triple Crown winner in the June 7 Belmont Stakes (gr. I)
