El Nino to Relocate to Swifty in Indiana

El Nino, who stood his first season this year at Martin Stables South near Reddick, Fla., will stand in 2009 at Don and Dana Meyers’ Swifty Farm near Seymour, Ind.

He is owned by Eddie Martin, the owner of Martin Stables..

A 5-year-old grade II stakes-placed son of Storm Cat—Bay Harbor, by Forty Niner, El Ninostood this year for $5,000. No fee for 2009 was announced.

El Ninowon three of 15 starts, ran second four times, finished third once and earned $153,849.

El Nino’s dam is a half-sister to champion Boston Harbor.
