TVG announced Dec. 17 that it had reached agreement with Los Alamitos Race Course to extend its exclusive arrangement for television and account wagering with the Orange County, Calif. track for an additional 10 years.

Under the agreement, TVG will continue to produce “The Quarters,” a racing program featuring in-depth on-track coverage from Los Alamitos during each evening of live racing at the track.  The Quarters airs in primetime to TVG’s 31 million television households.

“The relationship with Los Alamitos is an important, rewarding, and successful one for TVG, and we are thrilled to continue it for 10 more years,” said TVG’s president David Nathanson.  “As TVG continues to grow, this agreement enables Los Alamitos and American Quarter Horse Racing will grow along with it to the benefit of racing fans and horsemen. With The Quarters, Los Alamitos has secured long-term primetime placement on our TV network, and it is well deserved.”
