First Reported Foal for Ecclesiastic

The first reported foal for multiple grade III winner Ecclesiastic is a colt, born Jan. 28. The first foal from his dam, six-time winner Special Package, by Mojave Moon, the colt is owned by Joe Besecker.

An 8-year-old son of Pulpit-Starry Dreamer, by Rubiano, Ecclesiastic won five of 37 starts, including the Jaipur Stakes (gr. III) twice, and earned $346,472.

He stands at Walmac Pennsylvania at Regal Heir Farm in Grantville, Pa., where he was bred to more mares than any freshman sire in Pennsylvania last year. He stands for $5,000 live foal, $4,000 for Pennsylvania-foaling mares.
