Buena Vista's Grade II Status Reinstated

Event was moved from the turf to Santa Anita's Pro-Ride racing surface Feb. 16.

The Feb. 16 Buena Vista Handicap, moved from the turf to Santa Anita's synthetic racing surface due to inclement weather, had its grade II status reinstated by the American Graded Stakes Committee, the track reported.

The $150,000 event for older fillies and mares going one mile was won by Juddmonte Farms' Jibboom, trained by Bobby Frankel. Of the 14 originally entered, seven ran.
