Graded Winner Tasha's Miracle Retired

Tasha's Miracle won or placed in six stakes, all graded.

Tasha’s Miracle, a graded stakes winner both years she raced, has been retired from racing because of an ankle injury. The 4-year-old filly is owned by Barry Irwin’s Team Valor International and Sydney Belzberg’s Budget Stable.

By Harlan's Holiday, Tasha’s Miracle won the Sorrento Stakes (gr. III) at Del Mar at 2 and the Harold C. Ramser Sr. Handicap (gr. IIIT) at Oak Tree at Santa Anita at 3 in October in her last start. She placed in the Las Virgenes (gr. I) and Railbird (gr. II) Stakes, plus the Hollywood Oaks (gr. II) and San Clemente Handicap (gr. IIT). She won or placed in eight of 11 races and earned $398,452.

Tasha’s Miracle will be boarded at Craig and Holly Bandoroff’s Denali Stud near Paris, Ky. Breeding plans are undecided.

“I have not assigned my breeding right in (successful young stallion) Medaglia d'Oro  yet, and we may wind up sending Tasha’s Miracle to him.” Irwin said.

Bred in Florida by Martin Stables, Tasha’s Miracle is a half-sister to two stakes-placed fillies and is out of the winning Relaunch mare Ms. Cuvee Napa.
