Gold Legend, Officer Offspring Work Fast

Turn in quickest times during under-tack show for F-T Texas juvenile auction.

Unbridled Classy, a daughter of Be Like Mike, and an Officer filly each covered an eighth of a mile in :10 1/5, turning in the fastest works for the distance at Lone Star Park March 29 during the under-tack show for the Fasig-Tipton Texas sale of 2-year-olds in training.

Consigned by Stephollow Farm (Hank Bird), as agent, Unbridled Classy is the first foal out of the 7-year-old unraced Belong to Me mare Classy Me, and is from the family of grade I winners Classy Mirage and Missy’s Mirage. The Officer filly, consigned by Wolf Creek Farm, as agent, is out of the 10-year-old stakes-winning Crowning Decision mare Taylor’s Queen.

Two offspring of Gold Legend – Rerun Them Bones and Magic Legend -- tied for the quickest quarter-mile time, each with clocking of :22. Both are consigned by Joe Petalino, as agent.

Rerun Them Bones is a gelding out of the 17-year-old stakes-winning Exclusive Enough mare Enough Sale. Magic Legend, a filly, is the first foal out of the 7-year-old Magic Cat mare Magic Cure, who was winless in three career races but is a half-sister to stakes winners Rare Cure and Hadacure.

Chiquita Maria and a Halory Hunter filly led all workers at three furlongs, each with a time of :36 2/5.  Palmarejo Equine, agent for Juan O. Ramos, is the consignor of Chiquita Maria, a Skip to the Stone filly out of the 13-year-old winning Killarney Road mare Swoony Rallik. Consigned by Mike Neatherlin, agent for Tracy Neatherlin, the Halory Hunter filly is the second foal out of the 9-year-old unraced In Excess mare Excessivelysmittin.
