TOBA New Owner Seminar Scheduled

The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association announced April 1 that it will conduct a New Owner Seminar April 30 at the Kentucky Derby Museum, in Louisville, Ky.

The seminar, sponsored by Blood-Horse Publications, will feature discussions on industry business issues, options for acquiring horses including partnerships, auctions, and claiming, as well as a discussion about veterinary topics. Speakers include Cot Campbell, Mike McMahon, Kenny McPeek, Rick Hiles, and Bruce Frazier.

The seminar will begin at 7:30 a.m. and will include breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon of racing at Churchill Downs.

The registration fee for the seminar is $75 for TOBA members and $100 for non-members and includes all support materials, admission to the track, and meals.
