Nashville recording artist Danielle Peck will headline the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association’s National Awards Dinner Sept. 11 at B. Wayne Hughes’ Spendthrift Farms near Lexington.

Now in its 24th year, the TOBA Awards honor the achievements of Thoroughbred owners in the four major North American racing regions and breeders in 26 states and Canada.  Also honored at the dinner are the national breeder, owner, small breeder, and new owner of the year.

Peck is one of only a handful of new female country artists in the last three years to have a single, “Findin’ a Good Man”, reach the Top 15 on the Mediabase chart. Watch the video here:

Peck has toured with Brad Paisley, Big and Rich, Toby Keith, Sara Evans, Montgomery Gentry, and Trisha Yearwood. She was featured in CosmoGIRL! as one of the new artists to watch in 2007.
Tickets for the TOBA Awards Dinner will go on sale in July.

Sponsors of the 2009 National Awards Dinner include Spendthrift Farms, OCD Pellets, AmWest Entertainment, Blood-Horse Publications, L.V. Harkness, Woodford Reserve, NTRA Purchasing, and Daily Racing Form.
