NetJets to Sponsor Annual TOBA Awards Dinner

Event will be held Sept. 11 at Spendthrift Farm.

The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association announced Aug. 3 that NetJets will be the presenting sponsor of the 2009 TOBA National Awards Dinner to be held Sept. 11 at B. Wayne Hughes' Spendthrift Farm near Lexington.

“NetJets is proud to serve as the presenting sponsor of the TOBA awards,” said Richard Santulli, chairman and CEO of NetJets. “There are so many dedicated owners and breeders that deserve recognition, and this event is a wonderful way to celebrate their talent and success.”

Santulii is a Thoroughbred owner and breeder who races (with a partner) in the name Jayeff B Stable.

The TOBA Awards Dinner honors the achievements of Thoroughbred owners in the four major North American racing regions and breeders in 28 states and Canada. Also honored at the dinner are the National Breeder of the Year, National Owner of the Year, National Small Breeder of the Year, and the Racing Game’s New Owner of the Year.

A special performance by country artist Danielle Peck will follow the awards presentation.
