Two Stallions to Rockin Z in Oklahoma

Fast Play has sired 19 stakes winners and Service Stripe 15 stakes winners

Fast Play, a son of Seattle Slew and a half-brother to major sire Seeking the Gold, and Service Stripe, have been purchased by Rusty Roberts and Dr. Robert Zoellner for stallion duty in 2010 at the latter’s Rockin Z Ranch near Beggs, Okla. Both stallions have arrived at the farm. The fee for each is $2,000.

A grade I winner, Fast Play has sired 19 stakes winners, 26 stakes-placed runners, and the earners of $14.9 million. His runners include English and Irish champion sprinter Lucayan Prince, plus United States graded stakes winners Fast Catch, Fire King, and Power Play.

Fast Play, who is 23, is out of the winning Buckpasser mare Con Game.

Eighteen-year-old Service Stripe, a stakes-winning son of Deputy Minister, has sired 29 stakes horses. His 15 stakes winners include Saratoga grade I winner Cashier’s Dream and 17-time stakes winner Secret Romeo. Service Stripes’ runners have earned $11.8 million.
