Monba, winner of the 2008 Toyota Blue Grass Stakes (gr. I), has been sold and will enter stud in 2010 at Mike Jester’s Penn Ridge Farms near Harrisburg, Pa

Bred in Kentucky by Mill Ridge Farm and Jamm, Monba raced for Starlight Stable, Donald J. Lucarelli, and Paul Saylor, He won or placed in five of 10 starts, placed in two graded stakes this year, and earned $669,034,
Monba is by Maria’s Mon out of the winning Easy Goer mare Hamba, a half-sister to graded stakes winners Secret Hello and Silent Account. The transaction was negotiated by Davant Latham.
