Young son of Mr. Prospector to stand in Pennsylvania

Greatness, a 10-year-old son of Mr. Prospector, will stand in 2010 at Tarry Bratton’s Ghost Ridge Farms near Brogue, Pa. His fee is $5,000.

A successful third-crop sire, Greatness has sired the earners of $2.8 million, including the earners of $1.4 million this year. He is represented by five stakes horses, including multiple stakes winner Amazing, and 70% winners from starters.

Greatness, who earned a 108 Beyer Speed Figure in a Belmont Park sprint win, is out of stakes winner Harbour Club (by Danzig) and is a half-brother to multiple stakes winner Holzmeister.

Greatness formerly stood at Frank Stronach’s Adena Springs South near Ocala, Fla.
