Sarava to Double Diamond

Son of Wild Again beat Medaglia d'Oro in the Belmont Stakes

Sarava, winner of the 2002 Belmont Stakes (gr. I), has been relocated to Donald Dizney’s Double Diamond Farm near Ocala, Fla. His 2010 fee is $3,000.

Sarava ended War Emblem’s Triple Crown threat in the Belmont Stakes and also beat Medaglia d'Oro .

“The Belmont Stakes has proved to be a productive race in producing leading sires,” said general manager Roger Brand. “We’re hopeful Sarava will join those ranks.”

Ten-year-old Sarava (Wild Again--Rhythm of Life, by Deputy Minister) has sired nine winners.

Sarava formerly stood at Martin Stables South near Reddick, Fla.
