The Texas Equine Veterinary Association (TEVA) and the Podiatry Center at Reata Equine Hospital are hosting the Second Annual Texas Equine Podiatry Conference on Nov. 12-14, 2009, in Fort Worth, Texas.
Hot on the heels of last year's very successful Podiatry meeting in Weatherford, Texas, this event promises to deliver even more information and practical knowledge to enhance the skills and expertise of farriers and veterinarians, while improving the health and welfare of the horses in your care.
Chris Pollitt, BVSc, PhD, Director of Australian Equine Laminitis Research Unit, University of Queensland, and Research Director for the Laminitis Institute at the University of Pennsylvania. Pollitt is one of the foremost laminitis researchers in the world.
Blane Chapman, Certified Journeyman Farrier (CJF), of the famous Chapman family of renowned farriers from Lubbock, Texas.
Stephen O'Grady, DVM, MRCVS, veterinarian and farrier, owner of Northern Virginia Equine in Marshall, Va.
Mark Caldwell, FWCF, British master farrier, Myerscough College, England.
Britt Conklin, DVM, Certified Farrier (CF), veterinarian and farrier, the Podiatry Center at Reata Equine Hospital, Weatherford.

The meetings on the afternoon of Nov. 12 and on Nov. 13 will be held in the Stampede room at the Historic Stockyards Station. The official hotel is the neighboring Hyatt Place Historic Stockyards.
The Nov. 14 Wet Lab will be at Reata Equine Hospital in Weatherford. Transportation will be provided.
