Omega Code to Rockin Z in Oklahoma

Son of Elusive Quality ranks seventh on Oklahoma's leading sire's list

Graded stakes winner Omega Code will stand in 2010 at Robert Zoellner’s Rockin Z Ranch near Beggs, Okla. Owned by Zoellner and Clark Brewster, he will stand for $2,000.

Nine-year-old Omega Code, whose first foals are 3-year-olds, is the sire of 2009 multiple stakes winner Code of Honour. Omega Code ranks seventh on this year’s Oklahoma leading sire’s list by progeny earnings, with $1.15 million.

Omega Code, whose career progeny earnings are $1.6 million, has sired 56 winners, including additional stakes winner Code Runner.

Omega Code was a track-record-setting stakes winner at 2. As a 3-year-old, he captured the San Miguel Stakes (gr. III) at Santa Anita.

A $350,000 Fasig-Tipton Florida February sale 2-year-old, Omega Code (Elusive Quality--Tin Oaks, by Deputy Minister) is a half-brother to multiple stakes winner Tempest Fugit. His second dam is graded winner Squan Song.
