Keeneland to Sell Annual Admission Passes

Year-long pass for admission to 2010 meets offer savings for frequent visitors.

Beginning March 2, Keeneland race fans can, for the first time ever, purchase an annual pass—good for general admission each day of both the 2010 spring and fall race meets—for $50.

According to a release, the pass also entitles each owner to receive special offers throughout the year, including preferred grandstand seating, shopping discounts and free admission to the Equestrian Room during simulcasting.  

Keeneland’s spring meet runs April 2-23, while the fall meet will be held Oct. 8-30 for 32 days of live racing. General admission to the races is $5.

Annual Pass Highlights:
• Free general admission each day of 2010 spring and fall meets
• Access to preferred grandstand seating on Wednesdays and Thursdays on a first come, first served basis
• Special benefits on closing day of each race meeting
• Discounts for shopping online at the (some restrictions apply)
• Free admission to the Equestrian Room during simulcasting (not available during live race meet or on Kentucky Oaks Day, April 30; Kentucky Derby Day, May 1; or Breeders’ Cup Day, Nov. 1)

Patrons may purchase an annual pass one of two ways. One is online via through April 1. Once the spring meet begins April 2, passes can only be purchased at the East Gate. Passes can also be acquired by visiting the Keeneland ticket office Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
