Bacardi to Sponsor Oaks, Derby Infield Area

Section of infield will include amenities including bars, seating.

Churchill Downs announced March 9 that Bacardi will sponsor the infield hospitality area for this year’s April 31 Kentucky Oaks (gr. I) and May 1 Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I).

The area will have an outdoor sports bar atmosphere and include a VIP lounge, various seating options, shade tents, 12 jumbo televisions, multiple bars and betting windows, and executive restrooms. A view of the racetrack is not included.

The Infield Club debuted in 2009 and quickly sold out. Tickets are currently on sale through Churchill Downs’online box office The tickets have been bundled to include all-day admission for both the Oaks and Derby. Two-day general admission is $250 per person, while the Infield Club, which includes admission, a reserved seat, half-price menu items, programs on both days, and a special commemorative gift, is $375 per person. Tickets must be purchased with a VISA credit or debit card.
