Fasig-Tipton Promotes Graves, Welker

They will serve as vice presidents of the Thoroughbred auction firm.

Bill Graves and Bayne Welker are the new vice presidents of Fasig-Tipton following promotions that were announced by the Lexington-based Thoroughbred auction firm March 23. Bill Graves is the vice president of recruiting and selections, and Bayne Welker is the vice president of sales.

Both men formerly were Fasig-Tipton account executives. Graves also had served as director of yearling sales.

“Both Bayne and Bill have tremendous experience and expertise in the Thoroughbred industry,” said Fasig-Tipton president Boyd Browning. “Their understanding and knowledge of the sales processes and markets will enable us to continue to attract the highest quality bloodstock and buyers to our sales and provide superior customer service. This move reflects the contributions made by Bayne and Bill to Fasig-Tipton in the past and our confidence in their future successes.”
