Exchange Rate to Shuttle to Argentina

Exchange Rate will shuttle again to Haras La Leyenda in Argentina

Successful sire Exchange Rate, who stands at Robert N. Clay’s Three Chimneys Farm near Midway, Ky., will shuttle to Argentina to stand the Southern Hemisphere breeding season at Alberto and Renata Stein’s Haras La Leyenda in 2010.

Haras La Leyenda, along with Ricardo and Nicolas Benedicto’s La Pasion and Sandro Miserocchi’s Santa Ines, will stand the 13-year-old stallion as a joint venture in the Southern Hemisphere for a minimum of three years. Exchange Rate will return toThree Chimneys every winter to stand the Northern Hemisphere breeding season in Kentucky.

Exchange Rate shuttled to La Leyenda for the first time in 2009. He covered 110 mares, with half of them being stakes winners/producers.

Exchange Rate (Danzig--Sterling Pound, by Seeking the Gold) has sired 25 stakes winners. His current fee is $25,000.
